When I said snow fell during December I wasn’t kidding. The proof is in the pictures ~ have a look:
Before: Snoopy and the gang
After the second snow the pig got buried but the cat is still doing just fine.
John rescued my pig and put him up higher the same as Snoopy.
Good thing too because after the third snowfall the cat can’t see but the pig is doing ok.
After last night’s snow however it doesn’t matter anymore because everyone is buried except for Snoopy’s head.
John’s xmas flamingo after the first little snowfall:
Following the next snowfall thank goodness he has long legs:
After the ice storm Mr. Flamingo’s long legs have disappeared but never fear his long neck & scarf will keep him warm ~ unless….
Crap! Never mind the neck and scarf, where’s the bird??
Here’s the front yard after that first gentle snowfall:
A little more Christmassy after that second snowfall
I skipped the ice storm picture and went to today’s buried banks. You can’t even see the yard anymore. Those animals are stuck in the lawn until spring now unless by some fluke we get a melt in mid-winter.
I can’t believe it isn’t even the end of December yet!
Even better? Today’s balmy 0 degree Celsius is going to be our HIGH for a while. Tomorrow’s high? Minus Fourteen degrees Celsius with a windchill of -26 degrees Celsius!!
