Cycle 10 is finally done!
Mathew had his outpatient chemo starting at noon yesterday. He did great! He chatted for the whole 3 hours and continues to feel fine today. He is back on the full regime of anti-nausea drugs to keep him on an even keel. Our job is to stay on top of that and maybe lessen the effects as the days go on.
His hemoglobin was 98 going into this round which is below normal. It probably means a blood transfusion as soon as that chemo wipes out his counts. Which they will.
For now I’m off to spend some time with him.
Catch y’all later!
